About Us

We move freight by sea, rail and road within New Zealand - door to door.

Our specialist areas are:

  • Long-haul containerised freight
  • Roll on - roll off freight
  • Lift on - lift off freight

Only Cubic can provide the maximum possible frequency of vessel sailings, offering our clients an unmatched level of shipping quality, reliability and overall value for money.

We are aware that our shipping services can not always meet all the needs of all clients.  So we provide a full range of back up services by both rail and road at very competitive rates.

Environment Policy

Our clients make it clear that protection of the environment and minimisation of their carbon footprint are critical issues to them.  We support our clients in this regard by providing linehaul services that have the lowest available fuel consumption, and lowest available greenhouse gas emissions.

Because we primarily use "imported" shipping services, it can be considered that your carbon footprint is negligible when using Cubic.  We make this claim because our vessels are carrying domestic cargo in the course of their other import and export activities in NZ waters.

Our company will:

  • Optimise its operations through smart use of technology and operational efficiency.
  • Comply with all environmental regulations and, where laws or regulations do not exist, ensure that best practice standards are met.
  • Regulary review its policy to ensure that it is up to date and meeting its objective.
  • Maintain awareness of environmental issues and world-wide trends.
  • Engage with its clients and contractors on environmental issues.

Environmental friendliness is important to us.  By using Cubic for your distribution you can be confident there is no other way to move your freight within New Zealand with such low fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
